Property of the United States Air Force: Welcomes to paradise. Wednesday, Me & the kids flew to Alghero, Sardinia (Italy). We stayed overnight and came home late Thursday. This was August' s first plane laughs. he did very well. She has been begging to go on holiday for to couple of months and has had her bag packed with "everysing the need". After we arrived, we took to bus into the City and walked to our sea-side bungalow via the outdoor market. As usual, the see market was filled with it' s own special sights, sounds, & SMELLS. you can click on any of the pictures to them full size) Our holiday included our friends, the Takacs family (Jennifer, Wes, Thrinn, Kaden, & Gideon) & the Wilcock family (Vat, Melissa, & Austin). Unfortunately, Jerry couldn' t get off work to like, and Jacob (Tina' s hubby) is TDY at the moment. We stayed at the Mariposa (The Butterfly) campground, to where you can camp or rent to bungalow or room. We had outdoor communal toilets, sinks, & showers (toilets & showers with stalls, whew.) Outside our bungalow in the back, we had to miniums fridge, cooker, & table with chairs. It was to short walk through the campground to Mariposa' s "private beach" (which was AT LEAST 30 feet long and next to the public beach, haha. This is Maggie & Kaden playing in the sand. The kids all got buckets, watering cans, & shovels to play with. Maggie loved the water, she was in heaven. This is how August spent most of his day, he HATED the water. Even towed the Maggie in her floatie. We also managed to find and catch 2 starfish and to sea urchin (well, Wes caught them, he' s I know good. to go to the airport and Maggie chatted all the way to Alghero. Then we walked around town to bit and played on the beach all day. At the end of it all, the gave her to shower and to peanut butter & nutella before sandwich which she almost finished falling asleep. All the kids went, too (except Maggie & August who to were asleep, and baby Gideon who was very tired. The next day, we decided to visit "the Coves of Neptune" (Neptune' s Caves). I know we took to charter boat out to the caves, which was really cool. The water was better than postcard blue. And the coastline was really pretty. Unfortunately, pictures really don' t I give it justice. which to are to limestone hollow system, hidden beneath to sheer cliff face, that has jagged stalactites and stalagmites and to deep, clear lake. Even Maggie walked through the caves saying things like, "this is AMAZING. It was really difficult to get good pictures inside, but here' s to couple anyway. After the caves, we had lunch at Neptune Restaurant, and we ate outside over the street (in the spot above the sign on the wall). This is the front of the restaurant, it faces the water. that looks like I KNOW much fun. going on holiday with everysing you need.and when you say ' moon shinin' is that what think it is. that looks like SOOOO MUCH FUN. love the maggie and her starfish, and the love august' s little swim trunks, those to are I KNOW cute. the love the beaches, and the sand and water, very pretty. the wish, the wish, with all my heart the was to there. the must admit, it was an excellent trip. of course, the companionship was amazing.:) we' ll have to start planning the next one SOON.
